An optional early weigh-in will be held Friday from 7:00 - 8:00 p.m. at Metro Fitness (formerly World Gym), 1245 Worthington Woods Blvd., Worthington, OH 43085, (614) 431-9999.  If you choose to take advantage of the early weigh-in, you do not need to arrive on Saturday until 9:00 a.m.  Note: Per NPC regulations, only competitors and officials will be allowed backstage once check-in begins on Saturday.

Men's Bodybuilding
    Bantamweight (up to 143¼ lbs.)
    Lightweight (over 143¼ lbs. to 154¼ lbs.)
    Middleweight (over 154¼ lbs. to 176¼ lbs.)
    Light Heavyweight (over 176¼ lbs. to 198¼ lbs.)
    Heavyweight (over 198¼ lbs. to 225¼ lbs.)
    Super Heavyweight (over 225¼ lbs.)
Women's Bodybuilding
    Lightweight (up to 125 lbs.)
    Middleweight (over 125 lbs. to 140 lbs.)
    Heavyweight (over 140 lbs.)
Men's Masters Bodybuilding (40 years of age & older)
Men's Novice Bodybuilding (One class)
Women's Figure (up to 5’4”, over 5’4” to 5’6”, over 5’6”)
Women's Masters Figure (35 years of age & older)

Note: The 60 second posing round for bodybuilders during prejudging will be eliminated and all bodybuilders will pose at the evening show. As of 2004, the NPC added two new mandatory poses for Women's Bodybuilding: Front Lat Spread and Rear Lat Spread.  

AWARDS
Sculptured trophies will be awarded for 1st through 5th places in each division.  Every competitor will receive a goody bag!

ELIGIBILITY
All competitors must currently hold a 2008 National Physique Committee Card or purchase one during registration the day of the contest.  To be eligible to compete in the Men’s Novice Bodybuilding Division, you may not have won your weight class in any prior NPC contest.  For information on the NPC, including rules and regulations, visit www.npcnewsonline.com.

ENTRY FEE
$35.00 if postmarked by April 26, 2008. $40.00 after that date.  Add $15 for each additional division entered (crossover).  Send entry form (.pdf) along with check or money order payable to Mike Francois to: NPC Mike Francois Classic, P.O. Box 26752, Columbus, OH 43226.  You may also register at the optional early weigh-in or on Saturday.  If you would like an entry form mailed to you, please contact us by phone (740.363.8393) or e-mail and provide your name and mailing address.

MUSIC
Each competitor (except Women's Figure) must furnish a pre-set CD (preferred) or cassette tape with only their music recorded.  Music may not exceed 90 seconds.  Vulgar lyrics are prohibited and will result in disqualification.  Music will be available for pick-up immediately after the contest only (it will not be returned by mail). 

TICKETS
Prejudging tickets (general admission) are $5.00 in advance or $10 at the door.  Finals tickets (reserved seating) are $20 in advance or $25 at the door.  Children under 2 admitted free.  To order tickets, please print our Ticket Order Form (.pdf) or order online.  Tickets will also be available at the door and pre-sold at select locations.  Please call (740) 363-8393 for additional information.  All checks or money orders should be made payable to Mike Francois.  Ticket orders postmarked after April 26, 2008 or submitted online after April 26, 2008 will not be mailed and must be picked up at Will Call.  Note: Due to prior sell-outs, we highly recommend that you purchase your finals tickets early!

SPRAY TANNING SERVICES
Marilyn Spatola of Liquid Sun Rayz will be offering competition spray tanning at our event this year.  The service will be provided at the host hotel and at the venue.  Please contact Marilyn directly at (513) 460-6152 or info@liquidsunrayz.com to schedule an appointment or for more information.   

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION FOR FIGURE COMPETITORS
1-piece & 2-piece swimsuit rounds.
Competitors must wear high heels.
Thong suits are not permitted.
One-piece suits may not have open centers (abdominal area).
Competitors will be compared against each other in quarter turns.

VIDEO POLICY
Per NPC regulations, no video equipment is allowed in the auditorium. Cameras are allowed.
